I’ve had cats since I was eight years old. Since then, I’ve never had a lapse in feline companionship — Farnsy, Purrl, Mouse, Suki, Coop, Louie, Max, Pete, Sassy, Maybe and Lupin. And now I’m lucky to get to spend time with cat friends all over Portland.
In 2024, I lost my husband and had to figure out what to do with myself. Cat care seemed like a perfect solution — time alone with cats, no expectation that I had to interact with humans while falling apart.
